Recovery based fitness is aspects of fitness that are centered around boosting recovery to enhance performance going forward.


These practices encourage rest & recovery to promote better body & mental health. With recovery based fitness, we are asked to slow down & show some real appreciation for our body.

Foam Rolling & Myofascial Release

Foam rolling helps to relieve muscle tension, improve blood flow, & improve recovery by targeting the fascia & connective tissue that can be tight after intense exercise.


Cold Plunges

Cold therapy is great for reducing inflammation, decreasing muscle soreness, & boosting recovery after intense physical activity.


Stretching & Mobility

Dedicating time to mobility & flexibility should be a standard part of your program. This can help improve your range of motion & prevent injury.
